Beneficial bacteria and fungi were introduced to the roots of Camellia sinensis, Acer Palmatum, Acer Nigrum Dissectum, tulips, irises, daffodils, hops (humulus lupulus) roses, manzanitas, ranunculus plants in the Summer of 2008 ( Mycorrhiza) which resulted in augmented growth and tenacity during a number of heat waves (high air temperatures and winds) where as the other plants of the same type without the beneficial bacteria and fungi died (Spring 2009.)
