Beneficial Bacteria and Fungi help control disease causing Fungi and Bacteria as well as some parasites. We presently study the symbiotic relationships of beneficial Fungi and Bacteria with a number of flowering plants (Angiosperms.)
One example of beneficial bacteria in soy sauce and living systems is lactic acid bacteria. Sodium benzoate is often used as a preservative (in soy sauce) which kills harmful molds, bacteria and fungi and is common in nature from fruit such as apples to cinnamon bark,in people, etc. This is an example of how benefical bacteria and fungi can work together to form symmbiotic relationships. |
